My Take: Neutrogena is a well-known brand and has established itself as one of the leaders in skincare product. Their products have rarely failed to impress me and so while I picked up this face cleanser, I was sure it only meant goodness for my skin.
Just like the name this cream cleanser comes in a cute bubble gum pink /grapefruit coloured tube with a flip cap which fits really well making it travel friendly. I have carried it along on a couple of weekend trips and there was no spill over at all. As soon as you open the tube you are hit with this refreshing fragrance of grapefruit . Even the actual product is pink in colour. The consistency of the cleanser is creamy and thick and a gentle squeeze on the tube just lets the right amount of product out. It spreads nicely but does not lather too much though its creamy. So if you are someone who is used to too much foam then you may not like this cleanser.  I do not have acne but my T zone does get oily at the end of the day and this cleanser helps keeping oil under control and cleans my face really well. The menthol in this products gives a very nice cooling effect. Now I have read somewhere that menthol actually stimulates oil production, and if this is true then it will only make things worse for oil skin but I have been using this for almost 2 months now and have no complaints at all in fact I like how my skin feels after using it. In winters or cooler climate I feel this will slightly dry your skin and hence recommend using a moisturiser immediately after cleaning your face with this cleanser

While I love the Neutrogena cleanser I have used other cleansers or face wash that are far more mild and gentle on skin. So I may not buy this one again but do give it a try.
I personally feel that if you have acne then you need much more than just a face wash and while the cleanser will not do any miracles it will help in keeping acne under control if not get rid of it. Another word of caution, since this cleaner has salicylic acid it may not suit people with sensitive skin.
